We're zelariphyvo

Since 2018, we've been helping Australians take real control of their money. Not through complicated spreadsheets or restrictive apps, but with practical guidance that actually makes sense for everyday life.

Murwillumbah, NSW

Started with a kitchen table conversation

Back in early 2018, three of us were sitting around talking about why budgeting felt so awful for most people. We'd all tried the fancy apps, the envelope systems, the elaborate tracking methods. None of it stuck.

The problem wasn't discipline or motivation. People were drowning in complexity when what they really needed was clarity. So we started testing a simpler approach with friends and family around the Northern Rivers region.

What began as informal conversations turned into structured workshops by mid-2019. Word spread. Soon we were running sessions across northern NSW, then Brisbane, then further south. Each conversation taught us something new about what actually helps people manage their monthly income better.

What we actually believe

These aren't corporate values printed on a poster. They're the principles that shape every workshop, every conversation, every piece of advice we share.

Reality over ideals

Your budget needs to work with your actual life, not some perfect version that doesn't exist. We start with where you are, not where you think you should be.

Progress beats perfection

Missing a budget target doesn't mean failure. It means you're learning what works and what doesn't. Every month teaches you something useful.

Simple wins every time

The best budgeting system is one you'll actually use next month. And the month after that. Complexity looks impressive but rarely lasts past February.

The people behind the spreadsheets

We're not financial advisors in suits. We're real people who've made plenty of our own money mistakes and learned from them. That experience shapes how we teach others.

Workshop Coordinator

Spent most of his twenties wondering where his paycheck went each month. Finally figured it out in 2017 and has been helping others avoid that same confusion ever since. Runs our Northern Rivers workshops and somehow makes budgeting discussions actually enjoyable.

Program Development

Designs our learning modules based on real questions people ask. Used to work in adult education before joining us in 2020. Believes strongly that if budgeting advice sounds boring, it's probably being explained wrong. Tests everything with actual participants before we roll it out.

How we work with people

Our programs run for three months because that's how long it takes to see real patterns in your spending. First month you're observing and learning. Second month you're adjusting and testing. Third month you're building habits that might actually stick.

We keep groups small, around twelve people maximum. This isn't a lecture hall situation where you sit in the back and never speak. Everyone shares what they're struggling with. Often someone else in the room has dealt with the exact same challenge.

Sessions happen twice monthly, giving you time between meetings to try things and see what happens. No homework assignments or complicated tracking requirements. Just practical experimentation with your actual money.

Our next program starts in September 2025. We'll spend autumn working through the foundations, which means by summer you'll have a clearer picture of where your money goes and why.
